Jady & Scott 

Our story began in July 2016 at Cocoa Beach, in Florida. We were both enjoying that beautiful sunny day. I (Jady) was with my Brazilian friends and Scott was with his son Drake and his mother Donna.

I'm from Brazil but I was living in Orlando - FL,  1 hour away from Cocoa Beach and that day was my day off from work. Scott is from South Dakota and he was in Orlando - FL  for a his son's TEC Camp.

Ok... I will confess. I noticed him since the first minute that we picked a spot in the sun and he was very close by us. How would you not notice that handsome blond guy! Lol... I still have the picture in my mind and I felt something very special that day.

During that day, I went to the ocean with my friend Jacky and we saw him coming in our direction. I never thought that he would try to approach us, but he did! He approached and the funnier thing is: he spoke in Portuguese! 

That day after the beach we went out for a drink and got to know each other a little bit. Unfortunately that was his last day in Florida. 

Throughout the rest of the year we texted each other and then he decided to go to Florida with his son for New Years Eve. 

We enjoyed amazing days together at the Theme Parks in Orlando, we had so much fun... very special day! It was time to say Good Bye, he came back to South Dakota with a piece of my heart. Yes! I felt in love with him. 

We saw each other again in February for his birthday, we start dating and we didn't stop anymore and here we are... We will get married! 

Ah... I can't forget to mentioned about the engagement day. My mom came to USA for her vacations and she stayed with us. Scott asked her permission to propose me since the first day that he met her ( I didn't know about that... that was a surprise). And of course she said: YES!

She was so happy for what was going on and I could felt something different in the air. Now, I have to tell you guys something very weird and magic, days before he propose me I had a dream and in my dream he was giving my mom a crown and me a ring. After this dream I woke up and told my mom about it and she started laughing and that time I got: Jesus, It's not a dream! It will happen! She couldn't kept secret... that was impossible after my dream and her happiness! 

In September 5th, 2017 we went out for dinner at Providence - California. Ahhh that day! I have a romantic movie in my mind that I want to remember and tell my futures kids for the rest of my life. We had good food and wine and the best companies in the world, my future husband and my mom representing all my family. At desert time, the waiters brought us a plate that came closed and when I opened mine of course that wasn't a desert for me, that was a engagement ring! He knelt down and propose me with his eyes exploding love and I got frozen for seconds! Oh boy! That was magic! 

I have no doubt that God gave me him!

Scott, I promise you to respect, support and love you and our family to the rest of my life!
